My dad started Pacific Loan in 1952 at the corner of Third and Mission. At that time, his shop was one of only four pawn shops in San Francisco. In 1988, we moved our shop to its present location, 55 Sixth Street, in the heart of San Francisco.

We are a family owned and operated business. We treat all of our customers like family.

I’m Michael, and I’ve been running this shop ever since this photo was taken years ago. I run it to this day with a great group of long time employees who know the business inside and out.
